Privacy Policy Statement
Personal Data, or Personal Information (hereinafter “Data”) are processed by us only to the extent necessary, in order to provide a functional and user-friendly website, including the services and content offered on it.
According to Article 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), “Processing” refers to any operation performed with or without the aid of automated processes, or any operation related to personal data. These operations include the collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, or alteration of personal data, retrieval, querying, use, disclosure through transmission, dissemination or otherwise making data available, as well as comparison, linking, restriction, erasure, or destruction of data.
Specifically, with the following privacy statement, you will be informed about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, to the extent that we determine the purposes and means of processing either individually or in cooperation with others. Additionally, we will inform you about third-party entities we use for the optimization and improvement of our website, and the processing of their data by these third parties is their responsibility.
This statement consists of the following sections:
- Information about us as the data controller
- Users' and data subjects' rights
- Information about data processing
1. Information about us as the data controller
The provider of the website concerning the data protection legislation is the company:

Phone: + 30 211 1828611
Email: info@primebiosciences.com
2. Users' and data subjects' rights
Regarding the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right to:
- Confirm whether data related to them will be processed and be appropriately informed, and to receive further information regarding the processing and copies of their data (see also Article 15 of the GDPR).
- Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (see also Article 16 of the GDPR).
- Request the immediate erasure of data related to them (see also Article 17 of the GDPR) or, alternatively, if further processing is deemed necessary under Article 17, Paragraph 3 of the GDPR, request the restriction of processing according to Article 18 of the GDPR.

- Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe the processing of their data by the provider violates data protection provisions (see also Article 77 of the GDPR).
Additionally, the provider is obliged to notify all recipients of disclosed data in case of correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, as required by Articles 16, 17, Paragraph 1, and 18 of the GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or would require a disproportionate effort. Regardless, the user has the right to be informed about these recipients.
Under Article 21 of the GDPR, users and data subjects also have the right to object to future processing of their data if it is carried out by the provider under Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item F) of the GDPR. Specifically, objection is permitted to data processing for direct marketing purposes.
3. Information about data processing
Data processed during the use of our website will be deleted, and access to them will be blocked, once the reason for their retention no longer exists. Deletion does not affect any legal obligation to retain data, and therefore, no further information is provided regarding individual processing methods below.
Server Data
For technical reasons, and specifically to ensure a secure and stable website, the browser you are using transmits data to us or our web provider. Through these so-called server log files, information is collected about the type and version of the browser, the operating system, the website that redirected you to our site (eshop.ingenic.gr), the website you are visiting, the date and time of access, and the IP address through which the use of our website occurred.
The data collected in this way is temporarily stored, without other personal data being stored. The legal basis for this storage is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item F) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the stability, functionality, and security of our website.
The data will be deleted again at the latest after seven days unless further retention is required as evidence. Otherwise, the data will be excluded from deletion in whole or in part until the event is fully resolved.
Cookies
a) Session Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage tools stored on your device via the browser. Through these cookies, we can collect specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address.
This processing makes our website more efficient, secure, and user-friendly, as it allows for example the translation of our website into various languages or the operation of the shopping cart.
The legal basis for processing the data is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item B) of the GDPR, provided that the processing of these cookies is for the purpose of entering into or performing a contract.
If the processing of the data does not serve the conclusion or performance of a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. In this case, the legal basis for processing the data is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item F) of the GDPR.
Once you close your browser, these session cookies will be deleted.
b) Third-Party Cookies
Our website may also use cookies from partners with whom we cooperate for advertising, analytics, or website functionality purposes.
Please refer to the following information for details on the purposes and legal basis for processing third-party cookies.
c) Possibility of Deletion
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by changing your browser settings. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. However, the steps and actions required for this depend on the browser you are using. If you have questions, use your browser's help tool or instructions, or contact the manufacturer and the Customer Service Department. Of course, for so-called flash cookies, processing cannot be avoided by changing browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of the Flash Player. The steps and actions required for this depend on the Flash Player you are using. If you have questions, use the help tool or instructions of the Flash Player or contact the manufacturer and the Customer Service Department.
If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, it may be that the functionalities of the website cannot be fully used.
Contract Execution
The data you transmit to us in order to use the full range of goods and/or services will be processed by us for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, and as such, they are necessary. The conclusion and execution of the contract would not be possible without the prior provision of your data.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item B) of the GDPR.
We delete your data once the contract has been fully processed, but we must comply with retention periods specified by tax and commercial law.
In the context of contract processing, we transfer your data to the transport company responsible for shipping our goods or to the financial services provider, to the extent necessary for the shipment of goods or for payment purposes.
The legal basis for the transfer of the data is then Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item B) of the GDPR.
Customer Account/Registration Function
Once you create a customer account through our website, we will collect and store the data you entered during registration (e.g., your name, physical address, or email address) exclusively for contractual services, to perform the contract, or to provide customer service (e.g., providing an overview of your previous orders or creating a bookmark). At the same time, we store the IP address, as well as the date and time of your registration. Of course, this data will not be shared with third parties.
As part of the registration process below, your consent is obtained for the processing of data, and reference is made to this privacy statement. The data collected by us will only be used for the creation of your customer account.
To the extent you consent to this processing, the legal basis is defined in Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item A) of the GDPR.
If the creation of the customer account also serves the conclusion or performance of the contract, the legal basis for this processing is defined in Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item B) of the GDPR.
The consent you have given for the creation and maintenance of the customer account can be revoked at any time in the future, in accordance with Article 7, Paragraph 3 of the GDPR. You only need to inform us of your withdrawal.
The data collected in this context will be deleted once they are no longer required for processing. In this case, we must comply with retention periods as defined by tax and commercial law.
Inquiries/Contact Details
When you contact us via the contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. Disclosure of data is necessary for processing and responding to us. Without providing this information, we may be able to respond to your request only to a limited extent or not at all.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item B) of the GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your request has been answered, unless deletion conflicts with any legal retention obligations, such as in the case of subsequent contract processing.
Google Tag Manager
On this website, we use the Google Tag Manager. This service allows the management of website tags in a workspace environment. The Google Tag Manager only installs tags. Tags are small pieces of code used to categorize content and topics. In our case, tags are used, among other things, for measuring traffic and evaluating visitor behavior, tracking the impact of online ads and social media channels, and monitoring and optimizing websites. Through Google Tag Manager, no additional cookies are installed, and no personal data is recorded. Even if you have disabled the corresponding cookies, they remain enabled in Google Tag Manager. For more information about Google Tag Manager, you can find it here: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
Google Ads
For evaluating the impact of our ads through Google (“Google Ads”), we use the Google Conversion Tracking tool, an analysis service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, “Google”). If you have been redirected to our website through a Google ad, Google Ads installs a cookie on your computer (“Conversion Cookie”). These cookies are deactivated after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. They simply record the click you made on the ad before being redirected to our website. This cookie calculates the total number of users who clicked on an ad and were referred to us. However, we do not collect any information that could lead to the identification of users. Through this impact evaluation, Google collects personal data that is stored and processed on servers in the USA. Currently, there is no decision from the European Commission that requires the USA to provide an adequate level of data protection. However, Google has committed to comply with the principles of the EU-US Privacy Shield, which has been established by the US Department of Commerce and concerns the processing of personal data by the member states of the EU. More information can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?hl=de&gl=de. Further information about Google’s data protection can also be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?gl=de. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can disable it through the ad settings tool (https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de). You can also disable Conversion-Tracking cookies through your browser settings to block them from the domain “googleadservices.com”. The legal basis for the corresponding data processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item F) of the GDPR (balancing of interests, based on legitimate interest in evaluating the impact of our online advertising and, therefore, improving control).
Facebook Pixel
Facebook Remarketing/Retargeting: These are Remarketing tags defined by the social networking site Facebook (1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) and integrated into our website. Through the Remarketing tags, a direct connection is established between your browser and Facebook’s server when you visit our website. As a result, Facebook collects the data you use whenever you visit our website, along with the IP address, allowing the association of your visit with the corresponding user account. Our company can then use your data for displaying Facebook ads. We would like to emphasize that, as the provider of the pages, we do not know the content of the transferred data or how it is used by Facebook. More information about this can be found in Facebook’s privacy statement at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you do not want your data to be collected through Custom Audience, you can disable this feature by going to the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen.
Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereafter "Google").
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield program (“EU-US Privacy Shield”), https://www.privacyshield.gov, Google ensures that EU protection requirements are met when processing data in the USA.
The Google Analytics service is used to analyze user behavior on our website. The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item F) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and efficient economic operation of our website.
Information about the use and user of the website, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits, is transmitted to Google’s server in the USA and stored there. The use of Google Analytics is carried out through a so-called anonymization function. With this function, Google shortens the IP address within the EU or the EEA.
The data collected in this way is used by Google to evaluate the traffic and usage activities on our website. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the internet.
Google states that it will not associate your IP address with other data. More information about data usage prevention features is available here: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners, for example.
At the following address: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de, Google offers an opt-out add-on and further information on this. This add-on can be installed in common browsers and offers you greater control over the data collected during your visit to our website. The add-on informs Google Analytics’ JavaScript service (ga.js) that the information you provided during your visit will not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this function may interfere with the transmission of information to us or other web analytics services. Of course, you can also find out if and which other web analytics services we use in this privacy statement.
Google Fonts
For displaying external fonts on our website, we use Google Fonts. This is a service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereafter “Google”).
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield program (“EU-US Privacy Shield”), https://www.privacyshield.gov, Google ensures that EU protection requirements are met when processing data in the USA.
When accessing our website, a connection is made to Google’s server in the USA to display certain fonts.
The legal basis is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item F) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing and efficiently operating our website.
The connection to Google created when you access our website allows Google to determine from which website the request was sent and at which IP address the font should be displayed.
At the following address, https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated, https://policies.google.com/privacy, Google provides more information about the possibilities of preventing data usage.
